FC Dynamo Kyiv hosted FC Mynai at the NSC Olimpiyskyi in the Ukrainian Premier League postponed matchday 1 game.
This fixture was supposed to take place in late July, but as far as Zakarpattia side took the place of FC Olimpik Donetsk in the league and didn’t have time to get ready, it was delayed.
Dynamo started the season with maximal effectiveness by defeating FC Veres Rivne (4:0) and FC Zoria Luhansk (2:1). Meanwhile Mynai won their only game – against FC Oleksandria (1:0).
Generally visitors didn’t manage to cause the home side a lot of troubles. Early in the match Ramirez had a good chance in on-on-one situation, but missed. Still in the following episode Kyivans took the lead. After long ball, Ramirez passed to Buialskyi, who sent it into the net with a spectacular chip – 1:0.
Dynamo didn’t put a lot of efforts, but still applied pressure and doubled the score right before the break. Karavayev crossed it from the right side and Ramirez hit the corner – 2:0. Venezuelan striker has got a goal and assist to his name in the debut game for the White-Blues. Way to go!
Thus the second half turned into pure technicality. Still our players had to be careful. Generally Mynai unleashed only two shots in this game with not a single one of them on goal.
Meanwhile Dynamo had more scoring opportunities. Tsyhankov aimed at the bottom corner, but goalkeeper parried it. Karavayev missed the target just a bit.
So, Dynamo win 2:0 and take the first place in the league table.
