UPL. Dynamo – Chornomorets – 2:3. Report

FC Dynamo Kyiv hosted FC Chornomorets Odesa in the Ukrainian Premier League matchday 26 game.

Visitors started the match really well. Neshcheret performed two saves, but eventually the White-Blues conceded early opener. Yermakov headed the ball in after cross from the corner flag – 0:1.

Dynamo had a great chance to equalize right away, but Andriyevskyi slightly missed from distance. Meanwhile Chornomorets increased their lead. Demchenko scored with another header after cross by Badibanga – 0:2.

Voloshyn had incredible chance to pull one back after low cross by Karavayev from the right side, but Past parried.

The White-Blues could score at least twice late in the first half. Buialskyi appeared one-on-one with goalkeeper after accurate pass from Vanat, but missed when trying with a chip. In a few minutes, Vanat rushed into the penalty area from the right wing, but sent the ball past the far post.

The second half started with another opportunity for Chornomorets. Badibanga attempted with a header, but Neshcheret was there.

And then, within two minutes, Dynamo equalized. Vanat entered the box, played one-two with Benito and sent the ball under the crossbar – 1:2.

Then, after a combination in the right side, Buialskyi received the pass from Vanat and hit the corner – 2:2.

Visitors had a chance when Yermakov obtained the ball after cross, but didn’t manage to cope with Neshcheret from a very promising position. Then Badibanga missed just a little bit after corner. But, in the 70th minute, nothing saved Dynamo from the third goal. Chornomorets intercepted in the midfield, the ball was passed forward to Demchenko, who hit the corner accurately – 2:3.

The White-Blues had quite enough time to equalize, but didn’t manage to. This is Dynamo first defeat under the charge of caretaker manager Olexandr Shovkovskyi.
