On September 21, FC Dynamo Kyiv played the UPL matchday 7 game. The White-Blues hosted FC Rukh Lviv.
Rukh were 6th in the league table with 10 points after five games while Kyivans – first with 15.
Visitors created the first chance of the game. After cross into the box from the right side Krasnopir didn’t reach the ball just a bit and Brazhko cleared it. Then Bushchan saved the team after shot by Krasnopir. Dynamo responded with the attack by Buialskyi and Vanat, but Rukh keeper was the first to reach the ball.
Dynamo maintained possession, but didn’t really create much danger. Lviv side used counterattacks some of which were quite promising. Bushchan had to save after his own mistake as he parried the shot by Krasnopir from close range.
Late in the first half Kyivans were really active and aerated a number of opportunities. At first Buialskyi missed from the six-yard box line somehow, then he tried to assist Vanat, but Vladyslav sent the ball over the bar after his cross.
