FC Dynamo Kyiv faced FC Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih away in the Ukrainian Premier League matchday 25 game. Home side were sixth in the UPL table before this match while visitors – fourth.
Kryvbas started more aggressively and had some promising attacks by maintaining possession in the initial 15 minutes. Kapic attempted dangerously, but Neshcheret saved. Zaderaka unleashed a volley after corner, but Kyivans’ keeper was ready again.
Dynamo got more active halfway through the first half, but didn’t rush forward too much. The White-Blues had claims for penalty shortly before the break after she shot by Benito, but referee didn’t see a handball in that episode.
Kryvbas had their best opportunity in a stoppage time. The ball hit the wall after free kick and landed right of front of Luniov inside the box. Neshcheret reached it with fingertips and the ball hit the crossbar.
Anyway, Dynamo opened the score briefly after the break. Dubinchak passed to the right wing, Andriyevskyi put accurate cross into the penalty area and Denys Popov headed the ball in – 0:1.
Another center back, Olexandr Syrota, also tried with a header after corner, but missed. Sydorchuk and Andriyevskyi attempted from distance. Vanat had a chance after pass from Buialskyi, but hit the defender.
Kryvbas had much less opportunities in the second half as Kyivans didn’t give them much space. As they needed to score, they tried to attack in bigger numbers, but that didn’t result in anything. Meanwhile Dynamo could increase the lead. In the 83rd minute, Voloshyn found Ramirez inside the penalty area, but Eric didn’t manage to shoot past the keeper. Parris sent the ball over the bar in a stoppage time.
So, Dynamo win by one goal to nil, which means their winning streak makes three games now.
