On Sunday, April 27, FC Dynamo Kyiv played the UPL matchday 26 game – against FC Shakhtar Donetsk away.
The match started with a trouble for the White-Blues as Shakhtar opened the score in the 6th minute. Mykhavko fouled against Eguinaldo inside the box, referee awarded penalty and Kevin converted from the spot – 1:0.
Later Shakhtar had another successful attack. Popov cleared the ball inaccurately Matviyenko attempted with a shot, Neshcheret parried, but Eguinaldo was there with a follow-up – 2:0.
Early in the second half Dynamo got more active and pulled one back. Dubinchak crossed from the left side and Vanat headed the ball in – 1:2.
In about ten minutes this due almost succeeded again. Dubinchak put a low cross which Vanat tried to finish one-touch, but missed. Then Kabayev hit the post!
Later in the game Buialskyi crossed into the penalty area and Shaparenko attempted with a header, but the ball went over the bar. In a stoppage time Neshcheret saved one-on-one after which Kabayev equalized! After a throw-in the ball bounced to Vladyslav who netted it.
