FC Dynamo Kyiv vice-captain Viktor Tsyhankov answered journalists’ questions before the Champions League group stage matchday 2 game against FC Bayern Munich.
- Bayern head coach Julian Nagelsmann mentioned your left foot at the press conference. What do his words mean to you?
- First of all I try to do my job properly so that my team and coach were satisfied with it. Of course it’s nice opponents’ coach mentioned me, but, as I’ve said, I work hard every day to succeed with Dynamo.
- How do you feel before the game against European top club? Do you want to oppose such teams or maybe you’re nervous?
- Of course we want that. We want to perform in the Champions League against top level performers. Playing against the best, you get better. First of all we must follow coach’s game plan and do the best we can on every centimeter of the field. Only in this case we can try to oppose such teams.
- What kind of emotions do you experience before the match?
- We realize it will be tough as Bayern and we are on different levels. Anyway, we must stick to the plan and do our best.
