Vitalii Buialskyi: «The main thing is to keep moving forward and believe in what we doing»

The captain of FC Dynamo Kyiv shared his impressions of the match against FC Zorya Luhansk on UPL TV.

– We consistently don’t start matches very well, we concede a goal and only then we begin to get into the game. Maybe we need to come out more focused, especially in the opening minutes.

– In your opinion, was it fair that your goal was disallowed? Did you watch the replay?

– I generally don’t watch my own games. I only do it when we analyze mistakes during team meetings. They show me my mistakes or good actions and then I can see whether I made the right decision or not.

– Was the week after two consecutive defeats the toughest this season or were there more difficult moments?

– There probably were like when we failed to qualify for the Champions League after losing to Pafos. That was probably harder because we prepared for it and really wanted to make it into the Champions League. It just didn’t work out and maybe that affected us mentally. But the main thing is to keep moving forward and, after every bad moment in football life, switch to something better and believe in what we are doing. Then everything will be fine.

– Do you feel that the Ukrainian Cup is becoming the main priority this season?

– No. I’ve been at Dynamo for a long time and I already know that in every match we play we must win. In every tournament we take part in we have to aim for first place. For me both the league and the Cup – competitions we are currently playing in – are equally important.
