FC Dynamo Kyiv skipper Vitalii Buialskyi has commented upon the game against FC Vorskla Poltava (1:1):
- What do you think of the match? What prevented you from succeeding?
- It’s hard to say. We panned to play one way, but played another.
- But still you opened the score, so it wasn’t that bad…
- It seemed so, but then we conceded after wing cross and that was it. The team lost confidence. We could concede even more.
- The coach says the turf quality had its impact.
- We hoped the field would be at least like it was when we faced Karpaty or even better. We couldn’t pass properly.
- So the fact that the match was moved from Poltava to Kyiv didn’t make things easier?
- It didn’t matter to us where we would play. We knew all fields are pretty much of the same quality at this point. We need to be more focused in defense and use our chances.
- Vorskla are fighting for their UPL place. Didn’t you underestimate them?
- I didn’t check the table. Look at their game against Obolon. They had chances early in the match, but didn’t use those. Then that penalty happened. I think it was an accident.
- You got a good pass from Diachuk when you scored…
- Yes, it was a good one from Maksym. I took a pause to see what the goalkeeper would be doing. I don’t think it’s a big lead. If you don’t score one-on-one, what do you do here?
- The next game is against LNZ. You probably won’t be in the best mood while getting ready for it?
- We’ll see how LNZ do today. I guess each of us will analyze something individually.
