- Partially we acted pretty well, but of course it still feels it hasn’t been too long since we started getting ready for the season. It was only the second friendly, besides we’ve got new head coach.
- Was this game harder than the match against FC Veres Rivne?
- Sure, with all due deference to Veres, it’s much more difficult to oppose UPL teams.
- You’re one of few players, who spent almost the whole game on the field (80 minutes). How do you feel?
- We’re fine physically. We have intense training process and I think we’re 90 per cent ready. On Saturday we’ll have another friendly – against FC Polissia Zhytomyr and we should do a better job.
- This season you have summer training camp in Kyiv. How’s that for you?
- As for me it’s better to have training camps abroad, where you can totally focus on work. We have more time for reconditioning procedures and theory classes there. In Kyiv coach says he’s accepting of the fact that players have families, so he lets us go home sometimes. We’re in constant contact with Mircea Lucescu, he talks to us and asks for our opinion.
- Have you already had individual conversations with Lucescu?
- He talks to us during training sessions, asks how we feel etc. What I can say is that he cares.
