- Do you like working with new coaching staff?
- Actually I do. I used to play for youth team under the charge of Olexandr Khatskevych, so I know his demands.
- Everyone knows that Oleh Luzhnyi is a tough and strict coach. Does he make jokes?
- Sure! He’s really good at that.
- What did you feel when you found out that Yarmolenko leaves Dynamo?
- Frankly speaking, I was very upset. It was quite unexpected. Andriy has dedicated many years to Dynamo. He was a true captain. We’ll miss him.
- Now number 10 is available. Does anyone want to take it?
- I haven’t heard of that from anyone. I think one must deserve squad number 10 in Dynamo. Just like Yarmolenko did.
- What do you think of Dynamo Europa League opponents?
- Well, I’ll tell about them after the group stage ends.
- What was your reaction when you found out you would face BSC Young Boys again?
- I was sure we would face them again. Players are happy. We’re looking forward to this duel.
- What is Dynamo Europa League goal?
- First of all we must get out of the group and then move gradually. As for the final – why not? Dynamo have ambitious goals in every competition.
- What are your personal goals this season?
- Of course I want to score and assist teammates, but victory in every game is above all.
- What weather do you like when you play?
- I like cloudy weather.
- You got married several months ago. Do you feel extra responsibility now?
- I don’t feel any pressure. We’ve been together with Alina for years.
- How did you propose to her?
- (smiling) I took her to the restaurant, we had dinner and then I proposed.
- What’s your favorite holiday?
- I like the start of winter vacation, when I can visit parents and have rest.
- Who would you like to become for one day?
- Speaking about football players, I’d like to become Lionel Messi. It’s interesting what he thinks about and how he spends his day. As for non-football world, it would be really interesting to become president of the country!
