Getting into game rhythm

After several days of intense work the team had a training match.

Kyivans were divided into two teams and played in vests of different colors.

All performers took part in this match except for those who were prohibited due to health issues.

Benjamin Verbic, who’s returned to Kyiv after surgery, followed the match. Denys Popov and Mykyta Burda have muscle injuries.

Hryhoriy and Ihor Surkis and Olexiy Mykhailychenko were present at the game too.

Ognjen Vukojevic was the referee while Oleh Husiev and Emil Caras – assistant referees. Heorhiy Tsytaishvili tried to hit the target with a bicycle kick early in the game. The score was opened right before the end of the first 30-minute part of the match. Kadiri fouled against Supriaha inside the box and Buialskyi scored for the red team from the spot.

52 minutes into the game Vukojevic awarded another penalty, but this time – for the green team. Duelund made it 1:1. Still the reds hit the target again. Shepelev netted the ball from inside the box.

Some players, like Liedniev and Rodrigues featured for both teams for a while. It seemed the reds would win, but the greens did a good job late in the game.

At first Rusyn hit the post and then scored after assist by Duelund. Then Buletsa obtained the ball after blocked shot and put the green team in front – 3:2. And the real crux of the biscuit was the goal by Mykola Shaparenko. He eluded two opponents in the midfield, approached the goal and made it 4:2 from distance.

On Tuesday the White-Blues will gather at the training complex in the afternoon to have another session.
