Dynamo winger Vladyslav Kabaiev briefly summed up the UPL match against LNZ (0:0) in an interview with UPL-TV.
– What did Dynamo lack today? After all, we all saw the match statistics – many shots, many chances... What is the reason for the unsuccessful result?
– You are right that a draw is an unsuccessful result for Dynamo. We all understand the situation we are in right now. Everyone – the fans, the players, the coaching staff – is already waiting for a victory. As for the game, we lacked the final pass, the final shot, the finishing. Hence the 0:0 score.
I think our attitude toward the game was visible from the first minutes. We felt it during the warm-up, we discussed it with the guys before the game, we had a conversation with the president and with the fans. We all understand where we are playing. But today, I believe that the attitude we had for the game and the effort we put in are the foundation on which every one of our games should be based. Then there will be a result.
– What, in your opinion, needs to be changed in the next matches for Dynamo to finally get onto a winning path?
– You can see that LNZ is not an easy team, they run a lot and are physically prepared. And it is very difficult to create a large number of chances against such a team. But there were chances. I think we simply lacked the final pass and the final shot today. Because defensively, I believe we did not allow them to do anything. We reorganized, and after an attack we quickly regained possession. We analyzed the opponent very well. But we were only missing a goal, an accurate shot – that’s all.
If we have this attitude in the next matches... I’m not saying that it will be a 100 percent victory, but it is the right attitude that will help us achieve victories in the future.
