— Zorya are a very good team; there is a reason they are called “men.” We understood that it would not be easy today. In the first half, we made mistakes during the transition phases. We discussed this in the dressing room, and the picture changed in the second half.
— You played for Zorya in the past. What did you feel when you came out to play against your former team — was it pleasant or were you nervous?
— There is always some nervousness when you step onto the football pitch. I was happy to see my friends; I also worked with Viktor Skrypnyk.
— Did the atmosphere in the stands give the team extra motivation?
— We felt the support of the fans. It is nice that at such a time people come to cheer for us and support us. We are grateful for this support even during a difficult period for the team.
— Dynamo have now kept a clean sheet for the fourth match in a row, and the results have also improved. In your opinion, was the match against Bukovyna a turning point for the team?
— Yes, we got a real telling-off. We understood that there was nowhere to hide. Perhaps the Bushchan effect worked. He is an experienced goalkeeper, and he helps a lot both in the dressing room and on the pitch. We showed a good reaction to the defeat against Bukovyna.
