History
Found in 1947 FC Steua Bucuresti won its first national championship in 1951. On the whole Romanians became winners of national league 23 times. They also won 13 national Cups and 5 Super cups.
In 1986 FC Steua Bucuresti won its first important international tournament – European Champions Cup. One year later Romanian team won the UEFA Super Cup in the match against Dynamo Kyiv (1:0).
In 2005/o6 season FC Steua Bucuresti played in UEFA Cup semi final. That year the team won its last national championship. After that hard dimes began…

The manager of the team is 37-year old Laurentiu Reghecampf. Being a footballer he used to play for SNK St. Pölten (Austria), FCM Târgovişte (Romania), FC Steua Bucuresti (Romania), PFC Litex Lovech (Bulgaria), FC Energie Cottbus, Alemannia Aachen and FC Kaiserslautern (Germany).

In 2012/13 season FC Steua Bucuresti won 15 out of 19 matches in national league which gives the team a good chance to become the strongest club of Romania again. In Europa League round of 16 FC Steua Bucuresti will play against Ajax Amsterdam.
