Volodymyr Brazhko: “Bushchan says I scored from 32 meters. This is my current record”

FC Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Brazhko, who scored his first goal for the team in the match against FC LNZ Cherkasy, has commented upon the game.

- Dynamo totally controlled the game at first, but then LNZ came back and equalized. How did that happen?

- We scored the early opener and controlled the situation, but after 25-30 minutes LNZ started creating chances. The second half started with some nervousness and we conceded. Then we rushed forward and scored more.

- Mircea Lucescu said the game would have been different if you scored the second one earlier…

- Sure. We didn’t use a lot of chances in the first half.

- You scored your debut goal in style – from distance. Do coaches ask you to attempt more often?

- Sometimes I score like that at training sessions and they tell me to use that. I didn’t really have such opportunities in previous games, but this time no one was attacking me, so I decided to shoot. Heorhiy Bushchan says I scored from 32 meters. If that’s so, then this is my current record. I hope I’ll keep scoring. Teammates congratulated me after the game.

- After Serhiy Sydorchuk left, you got a chance to secure your starting spot… Do you realize it’s all in your hands?

- I’m happy for Serhiy, who’s joined a good league. Now I’ve got a chance. I really want to use it, so I’ll be doing the best I can.

- Do you feel your personal progress comparing with loan move period at Zoria?

- I got invaluable experience playing on loan, but I feel I still have room for progress. This is only my first season with Dynamo first team. I’ll be trying to make headway every day.

- Do you have any personal goals this season?

- The major goal is to win the league. Scoring isn’t my main duty although I need to do that as well. But first of all I want to benefit Dynamo.
