Volodymyr Brazhko: "We still have 90 minutes in Romania"

The White-Blues midfielder shared his impressions of the first UEFA Europa League qualifying match against Romanian side Universitatea.

– It was not an easy match. Of course, we wanted to get a positive result today, and a draw is not a positive result for us. However, we still have 90 minutes in Romania. We will fix everything.

– How unusual is it to start from such an early stage of the qualification?

– We put ourselves in this situation by starting from the first round. We have to get through it. God willing, we will advance... As for the match, the ball just would not go into the net. We created enough chances to score, but something was missing – here a pass did not get through, there we failed to hit the target. It just was not our day today. But this was essentially the first half, the second one will be in Romania. We can fix everything. I believe in the team, in the fact that we can get a positive result.

– The Romanian supporters' section was singing throughout the entire match. In the second game they will put even more pressure on you. Are you ready for that?

– It will not be the first time we play in such an atmosphere. We have already played away matches at stadiums with many supporters. I think both the guys and I will actually enjoy playing in such an atmosphere, it will give us extra motivation.

– Tomasz Kędziora played the full match after returning. What are your impressions of playing alongside him on the pitch and in training?

– I was already in the team before he left Dynamo, so everything is fine. Tomasz is a team player. He always helps, supports the young guys, and gives advice to me as well. We have a great atmosphere in the team, and now we need to carry that onto the pitch in order to get a positive result.
