In group B the Netherlands faced Australia. The fixture took place in Porto Alegre at Estadio Beira-Rio. 42,877 spectators were present at the arena.
The game was really spectacular.
Arjen Robben eluded defenders and hit the target 20 minutes into the match.
Still a minute later Tim Cahill netted the equalizer with a firm volley.
After the break Mile Jedinak sent Australia up from the spot.
Four minutes after that Robin van Persie scored.
The decider was netted by Memphis Depay 68 minutes into the game. He hit the bottom corner with a long-rang shot.
Jeremain Lens made a substitute appearance three minutes before the time.
