IBRAHIM KARGBO (forward)

The first game of the forward for Dynamo wasn’t much of a success and he scored own goal and Kyivans lost in Chernihiv.

In summer, just like Benito, he signed loan agreement with Olimpik.

OLEXANDR SYROTA (centre back)

Debut – UPL, Dynamo – Shakhtar – 2:3 (July 4)

Dynamo young trainee made his debut in the battle against FC Shakhtar Donetsk and played the full match. This season he played more often.

Syrota made 5 UPL appearances under the charge of Mircea Lucescu and featured in Ukrainian Super Cup.

ILLIA ZABARNYI (centre back)

Debut – UPL, Dynamo – Desna – 0:0 (September 11)

One of the main discoveries of the first part of the season is 18-year-old Dynamo academy trainee Illia Zabarnyi. He got his chance on September 11 as he substituted injured Olexandr Tymchyk.

Illia was the first player born in 2002 to feature for Dynamo. He’s totally used this opportunity and made 8 UPL and 9 Champions League appearances before the winter break! On October 7 he made his debut for Ukraine national team – in the game against France. Since then he’s made three more appearances for the Yellow-Blues.

TUDOR BALUTA (supporting midfielder)

Debut – Champions League, Ferencvarosi – Dynamo – 2:2 (October 28)

Romanian midfielder has played only several minutes for Dynamo so far. The first appearance definitely wasn’t a success. Tudor took the field 89 minutes into away match against Ferencvarosi TC and in a minute the White-Blues conceded.

He also participated in home defeat against Barcelona (0:4) by making substitute appearance 83 minutes into the game. As for the UPL, he played for less than a minute in the match against FC Inhulets Petrove.

RUSLAN NESHCHERET (goalkeeper)

Debut – UPL, Dnipro-1 – Dynamo – 1:2 (October 31)

The young goalkeeper got a chance to make his debut for the first team unexpectedly as Heorhiy Bushchan and Denys Boiko were tested positive for COVID-19. Dynamo defeated Dnipro-1 away in that game – 2:1.

The following match was quite a success for Ruslan. He played his first Champions League game – against Barcelona at the Camp Nou. Dynamo lost 2:1, but Neshcheret performed some really spectacular saves.
