Dynamo second training camp: gaining momentum

On Tuesday morning, the White-Blues worked out at the gym to keep muscles fit.

In the afternoon, Kyivans had a session at the Stade de Arber. Before it, they had a theory class at the special hall of the hotel. It was rainy at night it Divonne-les-Bains, where the hotel of our team is located, but throughout the session in Geneva suburb the weather was fine.

Having taken the field, players traditionally had a few minutes to have fun with the ball. For example, old friends Vladyslav Dubinchak and Bohdan Liedniev had a small competition. They aimed to hit the crossbar from the box line.

Then the session started. At first players had small scamper and then did warm-up. To finish it off, they were offered interesting task that develops coordination and mental processing. Each performer was supposed to react to signals of physical trainer and run towards cones of certain color in certain sequence.

Then there was major part of work with the ball. Goalkeepers were training separately while outfield performers were divided into two groups and opposed each other on one half of the field. The task was to hit a small goal made of training bars. The team without green bibs won 9:8.

Then the White-Blues had tactics exercises. As usually, Mircea Lucescu was explaining where they should move.

Eventually Dynamo practiced shots on goal after wing crosses. After the session, they worked on shots from outside the penalty area. Goalkeeper Valentyn Morhun got some serious exercise load.

On July 14, the White-Blues will play the second friendly at this training camp – against FC Sion. Kick-off – 20:00 Kyiv time.
