After a goalless draw at Group 6 contenders Ukraine on Saturday, Croatia eased to an expected victory against Andorra in Zagreb. Dynamo midfielder Ognjen Vukojević was fielded in the starting eleven, but was substituted by Jerko Leko seventeen minutes into the second half. Croatia now have seven points from their four matches, while Andorra are yet to get off the mark.

Dynamo midfielder Roman Eremenko came back to Kyiv in totally different mood as his national team had been defeated by Russia on Wednesday. Two own goals and a strike by Andrei Arshavin helped Guus Hiddink's side to a 3-0 Group 4 victory over Finland at the Lokomotiv Stadium in Moscow.
