Dynamo Vladyslav Vashchuk, Serhiy Fedorov, Ruslan Rotan and Oleh Husyev (subsitituted by his club teammate Artem Milevskyy) were all involved Ukraine’s last game of the UEFA EURO 2008 run in Kyiv.
Although the hosts took an early lead through Andriy Voronin, they were losing 1-2 before the break. The Yellow-Blues managed, however, to equalize in the early minutes of the second half and when Andriy Shevchenko got away from the French defense and his shot reached the target.
Further into the game, there were some other fair chances for both sides, but each team failed to grasp the victory.
