White-Blues set for international duty

With Euro 2008 finals and 2010 World Cup qualifiers slated for the upcoming weeks, a host of Dynamo players will be involved with their countries. Apart from two Ukrainians, Nesmachnyy and Mandzyuk, five other White-Blues are ready to depart for international duty.

Three African players are preparing to play in 2010 World Cup qualifiers. Badr El Kaddouri is due to feature for Morocco. After a friendly with Liberia on May 24, his team then faces Ethiopia (home, May 31), Mauritania (away, June 7) and twice Rwanda (away, June 13 and home, June 21). Ismaël Bangoura is set to play for Guinea as they take on Zimbabwe (home, June 1), Kenya (away, June 7) and Namibia (away, June 13 and home, June 22). Pape Diakhaté has been included in the Senegal list to play against Algeria (home, May 31), Gambia (away, June 8) and Liberia (away, June 15 and home June 21).

Maksim Shatskikh has been recalled by Uzbekistan’s coach Rauf Iniliev. As Asian 2010 World Cup qualifiers resume at the beginning of June, his team will face Singapore (away, June 2 and home, June 7), Lebanon (home, June 14) and Saudi Arabia (away, 22). With two games played, Uzbeks top their group with six points, three points above Saudi Arabia.

Marjan Marković will join Serbia national team as they take on Ireland (May 24), Russia (May 28) and Germany (May 31) in international friendlies. The encounter against Russia will be played in the German town of Burghausen, at the venue of the Russian’s pre-Euro 2008 training camp.
