Wolfgang Stark from Germany is to take charge of Tuesday’s night UEFA Champions League game between Dynamo Kyiv and AS Roma
The 38-year old, who oversaw his first UEFA Champions League match in the 2001/2002 campaign, is no stranger for both Ukrainian clubs and the national team. Among the games he refereed are Juventus 5-0 Dynamo Kyiv, Ukraine 0-0 Northern Ireland, Shakhtar Donetsk 1-0 AS Roma, with the most recent match in the list being this season’s SL Benfica 0-1 Shakhtar.
Wolfgang Stark will be accompanied by Assistant referee Jan-Hendrik Salver (GER) and Mike Pickel (GER). Babak Rafati (GER) will act as fourth official and László Vagner (HUN) will act as UEFA Referee observer.
