By scoring against Chernihiv in the Ukrainian Cup final of the 2025/2026 season, Andriy Yarmolenko matched the record achievement of White-Blues’ forward Maksim Shatskikh.
Shatskikh had held the lead among Dynamo’s top scorers in the Ukrainian Cup with 22 goals to his name. For Yarmolenko the goal against Chernihiv also became his 22nd.
It is worth noting that Shatskikh has two more goals in the Ukrainian Cup which he scored for other teams – Arsenal and Hoverla.
In third place in the scoring ranking is Andriy Shevchenko who has 21 Cup goals to his name.
