Ukraine U18 faced France in their second match at a friendly tournament in Limoges, France, on September 25.
Dynamo forward Yaroslav Buravtsov started the game and played the full 90 minutes. He was involved in several attacking moments, including a chance created by his pass to Pylypchuk, whose header was saved by the French goalkeeper. In the second half, Buravtsov had another opportunity to score, while his follow-up after a shot from Safonov was blocked.
Ukraine conceded the only goal in the 16th minute, with Ilfons scoring from near the edge of the penalty area.
The Blue and Yellows lost 0:1 and remain without points after two matches at the tournament, having previously lost 1:2 to Japan.
Ukraine U18 will play their final match of the tournament against Austria on September 27.
