- Will you show your children the game against FC Metalurh Donetsk to demonstrate how you used to play?
- It’s difficult to say…I think my most outstanding games were against PSG in 2011/12 season (2:2) and against Olympique de Marseille, when I scored brace.
- Playing for Montpellier you scored a lot from the spot, but in Dynamo other people do that…
- There are such players in Dynamo as Husiev or Yarmolenko, who can do that. Anyway this season referees don’t want to award penalties for us.
- You also don’t take free kicks…
- The situation is the same as with penalties. There are performers, who can do that not worse than me, like Veloso, for example.
- Can you play as forward or winger?
- I used to play as winger, but not as forward. Actually I started my career in Avignon as defender.
- Did you know anything about exercise load in Dynamo before your move to Kyiv?
- I knew nothing about that, so I was a little bit shocked after first training sessions. Still later I got used to it.
In Montpellier coaching staff didn’t pay so much attention to players’ physical condition.
- What can you say about Ukrainian pitches?
- They are great! In Poltava and Zaporizhya pitches are great, for example, though these teams are not leaders of the UPL.
- Which stadium shocked you?
- It was the stadium in Uzhhorod. But FC Hoverla are a small team, so it’s quite understandable.
- Is that true that signing a contract with Dynamo you laid it down as a condition that you must always be among first eleven?
- It’s not true. Such conditions can’t exist. How can I be among first eleven if I play bad, for example?!
- Have you ever seen Oleh Blokhin’s matches?
- Unfortunately I haven’t, but they say that he was a great player.
- Can you name Blokhin’s main personality traits?
- He is a workaholic. He hates losing. Thus he is very demanding.
