Using the break between friendlies Younes came to Kyiv and gave interview for FC Dynamo Kyiv official web site.
- Younes, it’s been a long time since you were called up to the national team last time. Still it seems that you’ve become Morocco first team regular again.
- I guess so. The new head coach considers me to be the main squad performer.
- On June 6 Morocco will play friendly against Russia and after that you’ll have a vacation. When will you start getting ready for the new season with Dynamo?
- I’ll join the team on June 22 inAustria.
- What are you impressions of the first season with Dynamo?
- At first it wasn’t easy. There was a period of adaptation and I started feeling confidence late in the season. I guess my play was middling. It’s good that we’ve won the Ukrainian Cup. We also wanted to win the UPL and to perform in the Champions League, but we had to lay this task aside till the next season.
- Dieumerci Mbokani has supported the new head coach Serhiy Rebrov on behalf of foreign players. What’s your attitude to work under the charge of Rebrov?
- I think it was a right decision to let Rebrov take charge of the team. He is a coach of new generation, who featured abroad. He understands foreigners’ mentality and communicates with us a lot.
- There are rumors about interest of Beşiktaş to you…
- I know nothing about that. One shouldn’t trust such news.
- Can the same be said about news as for your desire to break the contract with Dynamo with a help of FIFA?
- That’s nonsense. When I have problems I discuss them with the president of the club. It’s against my principles to leave paying no regard to club and people I trust.
- Where are you going to spend your vacation?
- In Morocco, with my family.
