The coach of our team has shared his impressions of the contest:
- The tournament was of high level. Participants were staying at two hotels located 10-15 minutes far from football fields. Turf was of perfect quality and each team had its own locker-room. We played both on artificial and natural grounds. The only flaw was that after games kids had to stay at the stadium and wait for the bus till the evening.
Both of our teams took part in the contest.
Recently we changed the game format: 11 vs 11 instead of 8 outfield players and goalkeeper. We tried to use space and sometime tore opponents’ defense apart.
The most difficult game was against Boys’FA from Northern Ireland. One of our players was sent off for desperate foul in the first half. Still after the break we scored two and won.
