FC Dynamo Kyiv coach Yuriy Semin emphasised the importance of a victory for his team at the pre-match press conference ahead of his side's UEFA Cup round of 32 first-leg match against Valencia CF.
- It will be the first official fixture of the season. That is why it is very important match for us. Besides, we will play in front of our own supporters who will pack the stadium in order to see positive result. We have to do everything to justify their expectations and hopes.
- Both Miloš Ninković and Betão sustained injuries in recent friendly match against FC Dynamo Moscow. What can you say about their current state of health?
- Speaking of Ninković, we will see what happens after today's training session. As for Betão, I’m sure everything will be ok.
- In your opinion, will the return leg be a decisive match?
- I think both legs will be decisive for us.
- Who do you consider the most dangerous player in Valencia squad?
- It won’t be surprising if I say that Valencia has an outstanding attacking line with such great players as David Villa, David Silva, Joaquín, Mata, etc. They are very interesting opponents and we are looking forward to meeting them.
