Ukraine reach Euro-2024 qualification playoffs final

On Thursday, March 21, Ukraine national team played the Euro-2024 qualification playoffs final against Bosnia and Herzegovina away.

There was only one FC Dynamo Kyiv player in the Yellow-Blues’ starting lineup – midfielder Volodymyr Brazhko, who made his debut for the national team.

Both teams played defensively, so the first half ended in a goalless draw. Home side found their chance after the break. Dedic rushed into the box, crossed and Matviyenko scored own goal.

Ukraine came back late in the match as goals by Dynamo trainee Roman Yaremchuk and Artem Dovbyk handed them victory.

So, it’s 2:1. On March 26, Ukraine will face Iceland in Wroclaw, Poland. The winner will qualify for Euro 2024.
