- Gerson, it’s been a while since you featured as forward. Was it difficult to get accustomed to this role?
- At first it was, but then things got better. We had decent attacks. I fought for the team and we’ve got three points which means we’ve coped with the task. Of course the position of centre forward isn’t my favourite, but I can take it when necessary.
- What instructions did you get from the coach?
- I was asked to demonstrate my best play and do what I can. Of course coach knows this position isn’t ideal for me, but he believes in me. He knew I would do my best to help the team succeed and I did. I fought for the team and tried to demonstrate my best play.
- Why were you substituted after the first half?
- That’s coach’s decision. I guess it’s about our tight schedule, besides each player needs game practice. We must work hard to be ready to take the field whenever it’s necessary.
- What are your expectations of the game against Ferencvarosi?
- I’m sure we’ll be hundred per cent ready to show what we’re capable of and fans will be satisfied with our performance.
