Dynamo winter camp: intense training battles

On the third day of their winter training camp in Turkey, the White-Blues had one session at the Mardan Sports Complex.

In the morning, Kyivans were divided into two groups and worked out at the gym of the hotel.

In the afternoon, they had really intense session on the field. Olexandr Tymchyk, who got a day off before as he became a father, rejoined the team.

After warm-up, players did possession exercises. At first there were traditional “squares”. Then outfield performers were split into three groups to practice on bigger area.

There was an interesting exercise aimed at individual skills improvement. One player was moving towards the goal and attempting to shoot while another was supposed to dispossess him. Each duo was fighting with great enthusiasm.

Later the White-Blues had traditional competition for three teams on smaller field with a limited number of touches allowed. There were some spectacular goals including the one scored by center back Denys Popov.

This time the blue team won the tournament: Olexandr Tymchyk, Olexandr Karavayev, Anton Tsarenko, Bohdan Liedniev, Samba Diallo, Nazar Voloshyn, Vladyslav Kabayev and Vladyslav Vanat.

On Tuesday, Dynamo will play their first friendly at this training camp – against SK Rapid Wien. Kick-off – 16:00 Kyiv time (17:00 local time).
