Dynamo half-back Andriy Yarmolenko scored twice at the Avanhard stadium in Luhansk on Saturday to give FC Dynamo Kyiv a 2-0 victory over second-bottom side FC Zorya Luhansk and keep his side in the Ukrainian title race. The 20-year-old attacking midfielder found the net either side of the interval, with Roman Eremenko assisting on both goals.
This result have helped Valeriy Gazzaev’s men keep pace with FC Shakhtar Donetsk at the top of the table. The team remains two points behind current Premier League leaders, but there are still seven games to go. That means Dynamo still have time to put things right.
