The match against FC Oleksandria was the 100th for Serhiy Sydorchuk in the role of the White-Blues’ team captain. He’s become the 5th skipper of the club to reach this milestone.
30-year-old midfielder, who’s been featuring for Dynamo since 2013, has made 63 appearances in the UPL, 6 in the Ukrainian Cup, 30 in euro cups and 1 in Super Cup as the skipper.
By the way, the first time Serhiy took the field with the armband was in the game against FC Oleksandria in September of 2017.
Only four players have played bigger number of games as Dynamo captains in the history of independent Ukraine – Olexandr Shovkovskyi (238), Oleh Luzhnyi (156), Olexandr Holovko (125) and Valentyn Belkevych (121).
