- You’ve won the title with Dynamo. What do you feel?
- Of course I’m really happy. It was our main aim. We haven’t lost a single game in the league.
- How difficult was it to adapt to Ukraine?
- It was very difficult. Ukraine differs from Austria and Switzerland. I guess it’s lacking about five years behind. The mentality is different here. At first I had communication problems as I didn’t know a single Russian word. Today I understand a lot.
- What’s changed in two years you’ve spent here?
- At first we couldn’t win anything. Then Rebrov came and the team started changing. Eventually we won the title. I guess today we are more a team than we used to be.
- How difficult was it to win the title considering the political situation in the country?
- We can’t influence political situation, so we try to focus on football.
- What can you say about Raul Riancho?
- I can say a lot about him (laughing). He’s a very explosive person. He makes us work as hard as we can every day. That really helps. It’s great Dynamo have Raul.
- Many foreign players, who feature in the UPL, often state they want to leave the country because of the situation in Ukraine, but you don’t…
- I feel comfortable and secure. I also see Dynamo great potential.
- Is the Champions League important to you?
- Of course it is. This is a chance to oppose Real Madrid, Barcelona or Bayern Munich. That’s the dream of every player.
- Who’s the most dangerous player of Ukraine in your opinion?
- Yarmolenko (laughing). I think Andriy is the best player in Ukraine. Shakhtar Brazilians are also good performers.
