FC Dynamo Kyiv halfback Andriy Yarmolenko has commented upon the game against FC Zoria Luhansk (3:0).
- How’re you feeling now that you’re back?
- I guess it’s up to the coach to estimate. I’m doing my best at every training session. When coach makes sure I’m ready, I’ll be in the starting lineup. Of course it’s vital to play to recondition.
- Do you have enough time for reconditioning between games?
- Sure. I think it’s okay to play once every three days. We’ve got a lot of players on the team.
- You thanked fans for their support while recovering. What do you feel now when you take the field?
- Their support (smiling). I’m grateful to them as I’d been feeling this support throughout those six months. I’ll be trying to demonstrate my best qualities on the field.
- Brazhko assisted you in the previous game, you assisted him today. Was it a kind of thank you?
- Let it be so (smiling). You don’t watch whom you assist. If your teammate is in better position than you are, you pass. Today my task was to be at the near post, I touched the ball and Brazhko did his job.
- Euro-2024 starts in a bit over two months. What do you think of your chances to participate?
- If I demonstrate proper level playing for the club, that will happen. If I don’t, I won’t go to the Euro. It’s as simple as that.
- You need 20 more goals to beat the record of Maksim Shatskikh. Does it matter to you?
- I want Dynamo to win the league. Personal records are secondary. I’ve never really cared about those.
- Dynamo have 10-game unbeaten streak. What are your chances to win the title?
- There’s only the first place for Dynamo. We play to win the league.
