Legendary midfielder of Dynamo Kyiv Andriy Yarmolenko has extended his contract with the club. The new deal will run for one year.
The upcoming season will be Yarmolenko’s fourth since returning to his home club.
In the 2025/2026 season Yarmolenko became Dynamo’s second-highest scorer in the Ukrainian Premier League with 9 goals in 22 matches. In addition he recorded 1 assist. With 123 goals the outstanding winger moved into a tie for second place in the ranking of the all-time top scorers in the history of the Ukrainian championship alongside Serhiy Rebrov. He now needs just 2 more goals to break the all-time record held by Maksim Shatskikh.
Last season Yarmolenko also helped Dynamo win the Ukrainian Cup, including scoring a goal against FC Chernihiv in the final.
