In October the White-Blues played five matches with two of the in the Europa League, two in the Ukrainian Premier League and one in the Ukrainian Cup. The month started with victories against FC Steaua București (3:1) and FC Shakhtar Donetsk (1:0). After that Kyivans flattened FC Hoverla Uzhhorod (4:0) and lost against Aalborg BK away (0:3). Finally Serhiy Rebrov’s men were victorious against FC Karpaty Lviv in the Ukrainian Cup (1:0).
To define the best performer of the team we summed up marks players got from FC Dynamo Kyiv official web site users after every game.
So, our best player in October is Andriy YARMOLENKO (39,9 points).
This is the third title of the kind in a row for Andriy.
Yarmolenko played for 90 minutes in every match last month. He was a real engine of the White-Blues attacks.
Besides, three times Andriy took the field as Dynamo skipper.
As Kyivans faced Steaua he hit the target and got two assists to his name.
Second place belongs to Serhiy SYDORCHUK (39,2 points).
Of course we consider only matches played for Dynamo defining best players of the club, but if international fixtures were taken into account Sydorchuk would have had a god chance to be the leader of this polling.
Last month the White-Blues 23-year-old midfielder became the hero of football Ukraine as he scored against Belarus and Macedonia.
Serhiy also featured worthy as Kyivans opposed Steaua and Shakhtar and netted his first goal of the season in the UPL against Hoverla.
Domagoj VIDA is third in this rating (36,7 points).
Domagoj played till the final whistle in every October fixture just like Andriy Yarmolenko. It means that he has become a really irreplaceable performer for our team. Vida is also versatile as he copes with duties of left back when necessary.
Besides Domagoj has a great goal-scoring flair. Croatian defender hits the target in really important matches, like against Shakhtar, for example.
