Dynamo extended their unbeaten league record to nine matches on Sunday as goal from Andriy Shevchenko sealed a 1-0 win over FC Arsenal Kyiv at the Kolos stadium in Boryspil. His stunning 30-meter free-kick in the 38th minute left former Dynamo goalkeeper Vitaliy Reva helpless and rewarded the team with three points. And, though the hosts upped the gears in search of an equaliser in the second half, Valeriy Gazzaev’s men held on to claim victory.
Although the victory came by the narrowest of margins, the White-Blues could have won the match by a bigger score, but unfortunately the team's other presentable chances were missed.
It is worth noting that this time the team was buoyed by the return of two long-term absentees, defender Taras Mykhalyk and forward Artem Kravets. Hopefully, injuries are in the past!
