Verbic is the first Slovenian player to join the White-Blues ever. Still he’s not our first performer from former Yugoslavia. Actually, he’s 19th.
The first one was Serbian Goran Gavrancic, signed by our club in January of 2001. He featured for Dynamo till 2008 and won both the Ukrainian League and Ukrainian Cup four times and Ukrainian Super Cup three times.
