The biggest number of such “call-ups” belongs to Andriy Yarmolenko, who was a team captain, tore Donetsk side defense apart and eventually got an assist to his name.
Football.ua: “Late in the game Yarmolenko’s individual skills helped Kyivans score. It seemed that only Andriy could hand Dynamo victory. He performed a lot of solo efforts and crosses into the box.
Interesting fact. Yarmolenko took part in 64% of Dynamo attacks”.
UA-football.com: “Kyivans couldn’t cope with Olimpik defense for more than 90 minutes, but eventually Dynamo captain took the floor. In a stoppage time Yarmolenko performed a solo effort, rushed into the box and crossed to Mykyta Burda”.
Matchday.ua: “Dynamo captain has demonstrated his importance for Kyivans once again. The White-Blues halfback was the key player of the game. In the first half Andriy unleashed a couple of shots from distance and after the break created chances for teammates. Burda netted the decider due to his cross”.
Footboom.com: “Another great game for the UPL leaders’ leader. Andriy actually arranged the final “assault” and created the decider by himself. He eluded three opponents, the fourth rushed to him and Yarmolenko crossed to Burda, who netted the ball”.
Mykyta Burda, who scored the decider, has been included into all-star teams too.
Matchday.ua: “Dynamo second UPL fixture against Olimpik could have also ended in a draw but for Mykyta Burda. He didn’t have much work as a defender, but he joined the final attack and handed Serhiy Rebrov’s men such an important victory”.
Football club: “Dynamo centre back scored his first goal for the White-Blues two weeks before his 20th birthday. This well-placed shot can become a golden one for Kyivans. Serhiy Rebrov had some claims to Burda, but eventually Mykyta handed his team victory 40 seconds before the time. Maybe this goal will give young centre back confidence before the away match against Everton FC”.
