Denys Popov, who scored the decider against FC Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih in the UPL matchday 25 game (1:0), has shared his impressions of the match.
- Denys, what do you think of today’s game?
- First of all Kryvbas are really decent team with good coach and players. It wasn’t easy to oppose them, but we always aim to win. Some episodes were really good, some weren’t. We’ll analyze that when getting ready for the next game.
- Vladyslav Dubinchak says this goal is really important for you in terms of confidence. How’re you feeling?
- I was really looking forward to it. I’m glad I managed to benefit the team as I always do my best. What I had to do is just send the ball into the net. We all worked for that. Team spirit is what matters the most and we must maintain it.
- How did you score that goal? What were you thinking of?
- Not much. I just stayed inside the box. Andriyevskyi put a really good cross and I headed the ball in.
- What did coach tell after the game? Is he satisfied?
- He just congratulated us. Now we need to get ready for the next game. It’s not appropriate time for celebrations.
- You’ve missed quite a while. How do you feel now?
- I’m fine. Coaching staff decided I needed a break after recovery. I’m thankful for believing in me. I’ll be always giving my whole soul for Dynamo.
- Did Kryvbas cause our defense a lot of troubles today?
- They have skillful players and good coach, so they know what to do on the field. It wasn’t easy, but we preserved the clean sheet. The whole team did a good job which is encouraging.
