Dynamo Kyiv players, together with the head coach and the entire squad, expressed their support for Ukrainian Olympian Vladyslav Heraskevych. The team and coaching staff shared photos in which each of them is holding a sign reading “Remembrance is not a violation.”
By publicly stating our position our team has demonstrated unity and solidarity with the athlete who proudly represents Ukraine on the international stage. We firmly believe that respect for history, the right to remembrance and honoring important events for our country are integral parts of civic responsibility and cannot be interpreted as a violation.
We emphasize that sport unites people around shared values – mutual respect, dignity and support for one another. That is why the team decided to openly express solidarity with Vladyslav Heraskevych who stands by his position while continuing to represent Ukraine with honor at the highest level of world sport.
