- It was a good game by both sides. Dynamic match with proper motion. We’ve won deservedly and could score even more. Desna had some chances, but generally I’m satisfied.
I’m glad Shkurin and Antiukh have made their debut. Both did a good job. Teammates helped them with adaptation.
- Why has it taken Shkurin so long to make his debut?
- It’s not that easy to get accustomed to new team. That takes time. Our opponents mostly defend and Shkurin is a type of player, who needs space. But Desna attack and give this space.
The fact that he’s scored doesn’t mean he’s totally adapted. There’re still certain issues. One should also remember that we have Ramirez and Kulach. They also want to play and I must give them chances. Besides, Supriaha is coming back after injury, there’s Verbic... It’s not easy to make a choice, when you have so many attacking players.
- Why wasn’t Bushchan on players’ list?
- It’s a tough period for us. Bushchan, Besedin, Popov and Andriyevskyi are injured. Heorhiy will start training gradually in 10 days. We hope he won’t need a surgery.
