On Monday, July 20, the draw for the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League took place at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
As the second qualifying round matches have not yet been played, Dynamo Kyiv and PAOK Greece learned their potential opponent for the next stage. As a seeded pairing, either Dynamo or the club from Thessaloniki will face the winner of the tie between Hammarby (Sweden) and Anderlecht (Belgium) for a place in the play-off round.
It should be noted that the first leg of the third qualifying round will be played on August 6, with the return leg scheduled for August 13.
