FC Dynamo Kyiv would like to thank SK Sturm Graz our team faced in the Champions League third qualifying round and in particular – their president Christian Jauk and local supporters for warm welcome in Austria during the second leg.
Dynamo highly appreciate all arrangements Sturm did for this game. The club helped our team with various issues and created all the necessary conditions so that we could get ready for the match.
Home side provided additional free tickets for Ukrainian refugees in Austria, who got the opportunity to support Dynamo at the stadium.
Besides, Austrian club fans supported Ukraine and Ukrainians, demonstrated banners condemning russian war in our country and expressed their attitude against russian aggression. Sturm head coach demonstrated the Ukrainian flag.
Dynamo also want to thank active Sturm fans, who arranged fundraising initiative to help Ukrainian refugees. We’re happy that in times of need our friends from Austria are ready to support our country.
Everyone Dynamo delegation met during the visit to Graz are really nice decent people while Sturm players are worthy opponents. We would like to express you our gratitude for that.
