As it often happens this spring, this time FC Dynamo Kyiv had experimental starting lineup too. Youth team captain Akhmed Alibekov performed as centre back. Another Dynamo U-21 performer Yevhen Smyrnyi also was among first eleven. As for attacking line, two strikers took the field – Artem Besedin and Nazariy Rusyn.
Besedin didn’t use the first chance 14 minutes into the game. Artem eluded goalkeeper, but defender cleared his shot and saves FC Lviv. Visitors punished home side in a couple of minutes. Alvaro hit the bottom corner – 0:1.
After the goal both sides had scoring opportunities. Dynamo were more active in terms of attacking actions, but after the first half they were still behind.
After the break Besedin had another chance, but hit the bar from inside the box. Still eventually he succeeded 12 minutes before the time. De Pena put a cross from the left side and Artem headed the ball in – 1:1.
Of course after that the White-Blues rushed forward to grab the winner. And they did it! 84 minutes into the match Burda made it 2:1 after cross from the corner flag!
