It all started in Monaco
The most outstanding battle between Dynamo and Steaua took place on February 24 1987 inMonaco. It was the UEFA Super Cup. That day the White-Blues lost by one goal to nil. The decider was netted by famous Gheorghe Hagi.
Rebrov has his own bone to pick
On September 13 2006 Steaua flattened Dynamo in Kyiv (4:1) within the Champions League group stage.
Serhiy Rebrov scored home side only goal.
Brace by Belkevych handed first win against Steaua
On August 8 2001 Dynamo defeated București side for the first time within the Champions League qualification – 4:2. Valentyn Belkevych scored brace and got assist to his name that day (watch VIDEO).
Thus Dynamo won only one match against Steaua, lost two and played in a draw twice. Goal difference is 7-9.
We hope that the White-Blues modern generation will be victorious over the most titled club of Romania.
