In the final round of the international tournament in Sweden Ukraine’s U18 national team played against Denmark U18.
This was the decisive match in the battle for first place. Both teams entered the third round with two wins each so this encounter was set to determine the tournament winner.
Denmark played a very aggressive game, dominated possession and created many scoring chances. Ukraine held out until halftime, conceding once, but in the second half the Danes scored twice more.
In the end a 3:0 victory for the Scandinavians secured them a well-deserved first place.
Two Dynamo Kyiv players appeared for Ukraine U18: Danylo Ohorodnik came on in the 73rd minute while Nazar Ivaskiv was substituted in at the 46th.
