Dynamo's nearest rivals FC Arsenal suffered their fifth league defeat of the season, going down 3-0 to Manchester City. Stephen Ireland put his side ahead with a strike a minute before the break and eleven minutes after the restart Brazilian Robinho doubled their advantage with an exquisite chip over Almunia. The third goal came in stoppage time from the penalty spot. Daniel Sturridge, on a substitute, was fouled by Djourou and took the spot kick himself.
Ankaragücü 0 - 0 Fenerbahçe

Luis Aragonés’s side, meanwhile, were held to a goalless away draw by Ankaragücü SK. In a rather uneventful encounter, both sides created chances but the visitors had much of the possession. However, Fenerbahçe strikers wasted a chance to break down Ankaragücü’s stubborn resistance.
FC Porto will play their domestic league match against Estrela da Amadora on December 17.
